We invite all qualified press and creative professionals to apply for media credentials for the 2025 season.

Application Timeline

• Approval Process: Applications are reviewed and approved weekly leading up to the event.

• Closing Date: The application window closes one week before the event date.

Special Stage Atlanta: Media Access Details

For GRIDLIFE’s Special Stage Atlanta in collaboration with Formula Drift, media credentials will be managed separately by each organization. If you're planning to cover the event, please read the following carefully:

• To shoot GRIDLIFE on-track sessions (GLTC, TrackBattle, RUSH and GRIDLIFE Drift), you must apply for a GRIDLIFE Media Credential.

• To shoot Formula Drift competition, you must apply directly through Formula Drift for a Formula Drift Media Credential.

Each series will conduct its own media safety meeting, and you must attend the one associated with the credential you receive.

Please note: Formula Drift credentials for GRIDLIFE media will be extremely limited. However, we still encourage you to apply if you're interested in capturing both sides of the event. The Formula Drift Media Application can be found here. Make sure to mention that you are approved GRIDLIFE Media in your Letter of Intent.

Media Access Types

We offer three distinct media access levels to accommodate various coverage needs:

1. Track Access

• Access Includes: General Admission (GA) and designated on-track media areas.

• Eligibility: Media professionals hired by a publication, brand, driver, or team to produce photo/video content; automotive influencers; or media offering photo packages to drivers via a website.

2. Music Access

• Access Includes: General Admission (GA) and the NOS Energy Stage photo pit, at the combined discretion of GRIDLIFE and the talent (available only at South Carolina Festival, Midwest Festival, Summer Apex Festival, and Laguna Festival).

• Eligibility: Media professionals hired by a music publication to produce photo/video content.

3. Press Access

• Access Includes: General Admission (GA) only; does not include access to on-track media areas or the NOS Energy Stage photo pit.

• Eligibility: Press members on assignment for a recognized media publication.

Important Notes

• Application Validity: Each application is valid for one individual only. Media outlets must submit separate applications for each team member.

• Credential Limits: Media outlets are limited to a maximum of four (4) credentials per event.

• Non-Transferability: Approved credentials are non-transferable and may not be shared or reassigned.

• Approval Not Guaranteed: Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. Media credentials are limited and will be granted based on the quality and relevance of the applicant's work. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

• Media Representatives Only: Credentials are intended for media professionals actively covering the event. Personal assistants, associates, guests, or family members do not qualify for media credentials.

• Late Applications Will Not Be Accepted: All applications must be submitted by the posted deadline. Late submissions and last-minute credential inquiries will not be considered—no exceptions. Please plan accordingly and apply early to ensure access.

Drone Policy

Drones are strictly prohibited at all GRIDLIFE events. Unauthorized drone usage will result in immediate revocation of media credentials and potential removal from the event premises.

Interview Requests

To arrange interviews with GRIDLIFE personnel, please submit your request at least one week prior to the event by emailing keleen@grid.life.
