2017 TrackBattle Round 5 Official Results
Round 5 is complete. 55 cars braved the rainy forecast, and were surprised by what was arguably the best weather for the time attack that we've seen all season. Tony Fuentes in the Solo Motorsports 135i was able to take advantage and put down an incredible 1:34.076, besting the previous overall track modified record by 0.3s. Hot on his heels, Michael Puglisi and the DMN Racing Mitsubishi Evolution finished less than 0.4 seconds behind to take 2nd place on the overall time sheets. Michael was able to secure his first class record with that run, improving the Track Modified AWD record by 1.3s. Like magic, Bradley Yonkers was able to improve by 3.5 seconds on his own time from Gingerman in Round 2 and take the overall record in the Street Modified class. Ron Spear took the overall HPDE+ record by nearly 0.6 seconds with an impressive 1:40.981. Here are your victors in all classes:
