GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival Set for Record-Breaking Weekend at GingerMan Raceway
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (2 June 2025) - For the 12th consecutive year, GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival returns to its roots at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan, where a growing fusion of music, motorsports and community draws more than 20,000 fans to one of the most unique weekends of the summer.
Expanded to a three-day weekend format, the 2025 edition will be the festival’s biggest yet, featuring nearly 30 EDM acts and DJs, including Bass Music heavyweights Levity, Sullivan King and more, performing across two stages on Friday and Saturday that are surrounded by nonstop racing from GRIDLIFE Touring Cup (GLTC), TrackBattle Time Attack, GRIDLIFE Drift, the RUSH Series and the new GRIDLIFE GT Series on all three days (EVENT SCHEDULE).
GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival has become the final party stop in a three-week motorsport swing for fans traveling from Indianapolis to Detroit and finally to South Haven, generating thousands of dollars in economic activity through lodging, food and vendor sales and tourism in the greater South Haven area. Local hotels, restaurants and businesses see a significant boost during the event week, which continues to grow in regional impact and national visibility of the unique festival.
“GRIDLIFE Midwest has grown into something truly unique, it’s part music festival, part motorsport and part community gathering,” said Chris Stewart, GRIDLIFE Co-Founder. “We’ve created a space where people come for the racing and stay for the music, or come for the music and fall in love with the cars. This year is our most ambitious build yet, expanding the format from a two-day weekend to three, and fans who load in on Thursday can get an extra afternoon of cars on track practicing and extra evening hangs at the Sunoco Opening Party at the Arcade.”
GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival will once again feature its full slate of on-track competition with practice and test sessions starting Thursday evening, including the GRIDLIFE GT Series (GLGT), GRIDLIFE’s newest national racing series making its debut at the Midwest Festival at GingerMan Raceway. Designed for faster, higher-horsepower vehicles than the Eibach GLTC series, GLGT targets an 8.9 lbs/hp ratio with a mix of factory-built and custom-built cars running on affordable 200-treadwear tires. The series maintains GRIDLIFE’s grassroots spirit while offering a more intense performance ceiling.
Returning is the fan-favorite GRIDLIFE Drift, with nine scheduled sessions throughout the weekend. Drift demos will take place on GingerMan Raceway’s full 2.14-mile, 11-turn layout, with pro-level and grassroots drivers sliding through long sweepers and tight technical corners in front of packed festival crowds. Special guests include high-profile names like Justin Pawlek, Dylan Hughes, Matt Coffman, HERT, Travis Reeder, Nate Hamilton and Grant Anderson. With non-stop smoke, style and full-course action, GRIDLIFE Drift remains one of the most popular and electric elements of the festival weekend.
Also on the racing lineup is the ultra competitive GLTC Series and TrackBattle Time Attack. GRIDLIFE offers open paddocks and full fan access to drivers, cars and teams, including scheduled autograph sessions. Racing sessions take place throughout each day, starting Thursday afternoon, and are broadcast live across GRIDLIFE’s YouTube, Twitch and Facebook channels. (LIVE STREAM)
On Saturday the spotlight shifts to the GRIDLIFE Motoring Meet presented by FCP Euro, a curated celebration of car culture hosted in the heart of the paddock. Designed as a meet-style showcase, the Motoring Meet brings together standout vehicles from every corner of the enthusiast world from purpose-built track machines to award-winning street builds. Hand selected feature cars and themed show categories make it one of the most diverse and vibrant experiences of the weekend, reflecting GRIDLIFE’s commitment to honoring all forms of automotive passion.
New for 2025, Festival Hill will serve as the central hub of GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival. Anchored by the largest NOS Energy Stage in the event’s history and surrounded by motorsports action, the area will feature food vendors, seating zones and multiple interactive spaces for fans. Festival Hill is also home to the GRIDLIFE Arcade, a popular social space with racing simulators, retro arcade games and a lounge atmosphere that shifts into music and silent disco sets after dark.
The weekend will include concert performances from nearly 30 EDM artists and DJs across two stages, with headliners Levity, Sullivan King, NGHTMRE, Dr. Fresch, Rossy, Super Future, Layz, CHYL and Dennett joining dozens of regional and touring acts. (FULL CONCERT SCHEDULE)
Nearby, the Vendor Village features dozens of brands and businesses offering merchandise, car parts, motorsports gear and more. Food and beverage options include a wide range of choices for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets.
Weekend general admission, VIP passes, camping packages and parking options are available now at gridlifemidwest.com. All tickets include access to concerts, motorsports programming and all festival areas, including paddock and vendor zones. With its largest music lineup to date, the return of a full motorsports schedule and a crowd expected to exceed 20,000, GRIDLIFE Midwest Festival 2025 is positioned to be one of the most anticipated events of the summer.
