We’re heading back to Carolina Motorsports Park April 16–18, 2027, and we are already counting down the days until we get back to Kershaw.
South Carolina has become one of those weekends that’s hard to describe with just a list of what’s happening. Yes, there’s racing. Yes, there’s time attack. Yes, there’s a lot of drifting. But over the last few years, the weekend has grown into one of our favorite places to camp, hang out, and spend a few days with the GRIDLIFE community.
That’s exactly what we’re leaning into for 2027.
On Track Action
The track schedule will be packed throughout the weekend with wheel-to-wheel racing, TrackBattle Time Attack and GRIDLIFE Drift on the road course.
GRIDLIFE Drift will be back on the kart track too, with sessions running throughout the day before things get rowdy after dark with Night Shift Drift. CMP gives us a lot of room to keep different parts of the event moving at the same time, so there’s always something worth wandering over to see.
South Carolina After Dark
One thing we’ve learned about this event is that it doesn’t need a traditional festival setup to have great nightlife.
For 2027, we’re moving away from the GRIDLIFE Main Stage and putting more focus into the camping and AFTERgrid experiences that have naturally become a huge part of South Carolina. The Pump Party will be back, the Overlander Camp Bonfire Party returns, and we’ll have more happening around the campgrounds throughout the weekend.
It’s less about standing in front of a stage and more about moving around the site, finding your friends, meeting new people, and seeing where the night takes you.
Camp With Us
If you want the full GRIDLIFE South Carolina experience, you need to camp with us.
Staying at CMP puts you right in the middle of the weekend, from the first track session each day to the late-night hangs after everything winds down. Set up with your crew, bring something to sit around the fire, and make yourself at home for a few days.
Whether South Carolina is already on your annual calendar or you’re thinking about making the trip for the first time, we’d love to have you there.
Early Bird ticket details, including GA, VIP, and camping information, are coming soon.
We’ll see you in Kershaw.
